My fiancé called and spoke to one lady, but after he explained his situation to her, she told him her keyboard disconnected and she was going to pass him on to someone else. We then heard them talking about him and how they didn't want to take his call, they took us off hold a little too early. Once they started "helping" us, she was incredibly short and wouldn't answer his questions and told him to call the state. She hung up as he was asking what number that was. The call was on speaker, so I heard everything and immediately called them back. The lady that had been helping him started arguing with me that she had not hung up on him, that she had helped him as much as she could and then ended the call. But she was much nicer to me and answered all my questions.
Just super rude. If you don't want to help everyone regardless of gender or race, then don't work in the government. There's no need to be that short with people, these kinds of things can be confusing and complicated, and a little grace from them wouldn't have hurt.

SO FREAKIN RUDE!!! The female I talked to on the phone between 1-2:30 pm was so rude, I don't even want to call her a lady. She continually interrupted me and would not allow me to even ask her about getting my registration done sooner via the website. Simple solution. But instead of being customer friendly, she took a hostile tone and demanded my name and address. NO WAY would I give my personal info to someone so hostile.
So I asked to speak with someone else (surely there is more than one person) and she hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to someone else again and she said that I could not talk to someone else, she was the only one and she was super busy and hung up AGAIN.
I wish she would have given me her name. I would gladly tell it.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HAVING CONTACT!!

We were here to assess and register a vehicle. Working at the DMV would be a stressful job, but everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Yes, there was a wait, but that’s expected. I appreciate that the people there are knowledgeable and competent and make sure everything is done right.

I was in and out within 10 minutes from walking through the door to leaving the building. This was on an afternoon on a Thursday. I am very impressed with how fast it took and it was completely painless to get my vehicle assessed.

The lady I spoke to on the phone was very disrespectful. I gave her my name for her to look me up. She couldn’t find me after I spelled out my last name twice and then said she wasn’t finding “Steffy whatever it is” in the system. She also asked if I lived in Benton County (which I’m pretty sure I do as I got a vehicle registration renewal with Benton county for my vehicle). She then insisted that I go online and “look myself up”. I asked her what I was supposed to do/where I was supposed to go on the site to look myself up and how to actually pay my taxes, and she just basically said to call back if I still have issues. Overall it felt like a pretty hostile experience and I’m just trying to pay my taxes.

$10.00 dollar "online processing fee" is just another way of saying "give us more money for no reason". I was going to give the voluntary amount, but then decided against it when i realized how greedy they have become. My taxes doubled from 2019-2020 because I got a car that was 3 years newer than my last....... someone's pockets are getting fuller every year and it's not the citizens. Two stars instead of one because I respect the grind.

I was talking to a lady about accessing my vehicle and she hung up on me because apparently I had to make my disabled dad who’s in bad condition and doesn’t even have money to keep his phone like going access his on vehicle and she hangs up the call while I was still talking. I was being respectful as I can be.
