This is the most unlikely spot for fishing but it's easy to get to and alot of Leppard sharks. When the crabs don't steal your bait you have a chance to catch some nice fish. It's fun and easy. On thing is be mindful of the bike traffic getting here

Beautiful place to do some canoe, make sure you are aware of the time of the tide to avoid being stuck with your boat.

Is this a lagoon? Yes! Does it experience a high and low tide? Yes! What does that mean? Make sure you carefully plan your trip or you'll be like us...sitting in a kayak on top of mud in the middle of the lagoon with no option but to drag your paddle on the mud to try to slowly sludge your way back to shore. And then have to wade/struggle through the 2 feet deep mud and fear for your life and that you may never make it the 10 feet back to shore. Hilarious though, and a great adventure. Also, great bird watching as the birds aren't really that fearful of humans.

Beautiful views right off the 1. Great chance to see seals and pups - just follow the directiins in the sugns and dont get too close.
Nice views as you get close to Sunset.
If you have time bring a folding chair and watch the seals play...

The drive on Highway 1 provides many opportunities for picture taking of wildlife at Bolinas Lagoon. My favorites are the seals and Egrets.
