This is the best mechanical place in Davis and in California. I have visited many for some car issues and here the service is fast, reliable and honest.
Workers have knowledge, they also have experience and the prices are really good.
I am particularly grateful for helping me buy a new car. Miguel went with me to the dealer place, checked the car, helped with the negotiation and then we brought the car to Center City Automotive and solve some little issues for a really great price.
100% recommended, specially for people who speaks Spanish and come from Latin America.

I’m very impressed! I called 7:30 am Friday morning to see if I can bring my car in. David made it happened. Very professional and friendly. A couple of hours later my car is ready. Stanley the mechanic is very helpful made some suggestions regarding my vehicle. This guys are awesome and honest. When you leave with your vehicle you know it’s done right and feel not being ripped off.

In Davis from out of town so I can't change my own oil. Went to Center City for oil changes for 3 years. At no point did they tell me I had an obvious oil leak(I guess I should've gone behind them to check after every oil change). Oil pan was soaked in oil. Any normal person, let alone a mechanic, would have seen it. Now the truck is barely out of warranty and the cost to fix is $6,500. All they had to do was mention seeing the leak and I could've taken it in to the dealer and had the work done for free. I recommend going to a shop with real mechanics., not just people dressing the part.

I am always greeted and told what they will do with a print out and estimate. The job gets done in a timely manner they will even give a ride home if needed. Very happy with Center City Automotive.

Before I sold my car, I had a repair service and had a safety inspection. I paid about $600 for this, but I still have the same issues and even one more issue is added after repair service.

I have a receipt with the paid date, and the very next day, on the way to sell my car, I found that it had not been repaired. (The recording date is written on the video file.)
Even a new problem was even added, resulting in a total of 4 warning messages related to brakes.

Because I am going to graduate soon, I need to sell the vehicle asap. My car is currently at a different repair shop, so they said a refund is not possible. I paid $600 and the problem was not repaired and even added to it.

However, I have a receipt including the inspection date, and I have video evidence, and photos taken less than a day after receiving the repair service. If you think I am leaving a false review, please contact me. I have all the evidence.
I was very disappointed that their response was not friendly.
I am not sure for others but this is the worst situation for me.

So sad I have been taking my cars here for 15+years. The guy at the front was so rude to me. They also charged me so much for an oil change and alignment. I used to recommend this place but I not longer can. We took another car here a few months ago to fix a squealing noise it was fixed for two days and then returned. This place has terrible customer service now and they do not care about their long term customers. I won’t go back.
