Couldn’t recommend Raw Rhythm enough! The owner/ instructor Brad is patient, creative informative and inspiring! The studio is the perfect size and the moment you walk in, the stress melts away. Pottery has been the meditative highlight of my week and I’m addicted. Cherry on top a I’ve met the most amazing of community. 100/10!

This was SUCH an incredible experience! My friend and I went with zero pottery experience whatsoever. The guy who runs the shop (I think his name is Brad?) was so awesome and super knowledgeable. For $75 he gave us a 20-30 minute how-to demonstrations on the do’s and don’t’s and then let us run free with our creativity. The clay was all set up for us when we got there, and he walked around the room answering questions and offering help. We all made two pieces and selected which glaze we wanted, and they’ll be ready for pick up in about a month. I will definitely be back for another workshop.

We held our annual work team building at Raw Rhythm, and it was so fun! Most of us had little to no experience in pottery, but with Brad's direction, were able to create something special! The space is beautiful (and in such a fun part of Oside!) and Brad/Ella are the BEST! Can't wait to go back and learn / create more 🙂

We are so lucky to have this amazing pottery studio in our neighborhood! Ella and Brad are the sweetest owners who truly want their students to have fun, explore, and play while learning key skills. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone is feeling confident on the wheel.

I hosted my husband’s birthday here, and they were super accommodating. Everyone left with multiple pieces that they created and huge smiles on their faces. It was such a beautiful night! I can’t wait to enroll in a workshop! Thank you, Ella and Brad, for the unforgettable experience!

We held our son's seventh birthday at Raw Rhythm Studio, and it was amazing! Brad and Ella did a great job engaging the kids and helping them with their ceramics projects. They brought positive energy and gave age appropriate instruction so the kids really thrived! Ella went out of her way to help one of the little girls who became emotional. She sat down with her and together they made a 'pinch bowl', stamped it with snowflakes, and glazed it. It was so heart warming to see this little girl respond to Ella's caring and warmth and get so excited about her snowflake bowl.

The kids each made multiple projects. Brad and Ella will fire them, and I will pick them up and distribute to the kids.

I will say with certainty that we would have another birthday party here. Furthermore, I was discussing with some of the other parents that we would like to return without kids to experience the ceramics first hand. It was truly a wonderful experience!

This is the community Pottery place my family and I have been looking for. We had the kids do a 7-week course and they can't wait to do another session. Their skills improved over the span of the courses and they learned a ton. I went in for a seminar and meet with many community members and had a huge learning experience with their seminar teacher (Tortus, yes Tortus was a returning teacher!). Brad is a patient teacher as well...very even-keel, easy going, and an amazing mentor. We're lucky to have a studio of this caliber in Oceanside!

Beautiful space, lovely owners, had a lovely time making 2 items and tastings/pairings by a local natural vintner. Would love to come back for more events if just a bit more affordable.
