Great team at Dixon City Hall. The people at the front desk were super nice and super helpful. The City Hall chambers is a nice location for City Council meetings and Dixon USD Board meeting. Plenty of room.

Went to see the 4th of July show. There were only 2 food trucks with a few others selling various drinks. Fireworks were supposed to start after sundown and then after 9. Sundown was 8:35. 9:30 we left, and only fireworks were the ones being set off in the area, but you couldn't see real well due to baseball field lights. A group of high schoolers could have planned and executed a better event.

This must be the city hall where that bigoted slimeball Hickman spews his hatred and gives his small town a horrible reputation.

I think Dixon is a beautiful community; well policed and excellently managed by Mayor Steve Bird. However there are flaws; particularly in the way the Police approach the Hispanic, Black, and minority communities and interact with those having mental illness.

Historically Dixon.. is and always has been a Historically "White" town that houses a lot of Hispanics by way of migrant work, blue collar trades, and eventually in the 90's during the Housing Boom.. "The American Dream."

I got hired as a Dog walker and property preservation employee for a white client with a Biracial Black baby in Dixon within a few houses of the Mayors Home. I've never met the Mayor in my life, but a few months after working for my client I called Dixon Police Dept saying that a man was present in the home and holding my client against her will threatening her and her baby with a gun. No one came. Rather instead Dixon police put me, (the 911 caller under heavy surveillance). It got so bad, I had to hire a private investigator (Retired Detective) to follow me in town and he determined the level of surveillance constituted harassment. A few months later the guy I reported was convicted for Human Trafficking in Napa County and sentenced to Prison. I was actually thanked by Homeland Security for my persistence in putting my life and security on the line to help Dixon PD and Mayor Bird keep their city safe.

I walk by the Mayors house every day to walk my client's Pit Bulls. She's disabled and can't do it herself. I gotta do this twice a day 3 dogs each, 6 walks a day. When I started walking dogs there, I never even knew it was the Mayor's house. It just happens to be on our dog walk. My client's house is 3x the size and twice the value of his house.. my clients dog budget is likely higher than most mortgages on the block. But I don't really choose the direction of the walk. These are 3 large and powerful XL Bully Pitbulls that already 5 dog walkers before me quit. I'm not even a dog walker by trade. The dogs choose the walk they go on. It all depends on their energy levels and time of day. If they want the short walk, we go by the Mayor's.. If they want the long walk, we don't. Me personally.. I prefer short walks. Especially if I gotta do it 3x in the cold.

What Dixon police and the Mayor doesn't understand, is I came here to do a job. I have like 30 clients. This is one of 30 clients a day I see. I also travel to woodland, Davis, Lincoln, Granite Bay, Rocklin, Roseville, Elk Grove, Sloughhouse, Galt... and I have clients that are Sacramento PD Officers, Placer County District Attorneys, Yolo County Judges, El Dorado County Sheriff's. Dixon is one of a few dozen cities I service in one of four counties.

So I don't need drones in the sky following me around and harassing me for simply walking my dogs by his house.

Thank You
