I was in the Material Handling class and achieved my Certified Logistics Associate certification & my forklift certification. The instructor Mr. Tan is highly motivational and believes in all of his students. I feel as though I can excel in the logistics career field. I heard great reviews and even students who completed this class and wish to return. If you wish for a career in logistics or something fulfilling and worthwhile material handling is the class for you.

I am writing this under an appreciation for one particular teacher: Mr. Tan, the instructor for the Material Handling trade.

Mr. Tan is a person of good principles. A notable one I've seen from my time being in his class with the ethic of respect & fairness; I make sure to return the same notion to him by following his instructions & doing my assigned work.

Mr. Tan is also very avid about his students succeeding in their academic & technical studies; to the point where he's willing to help dedicated students outside of class when given the chance. My math has substantially improved, which has made my mathematics class much more engaging although it's not Mr Tan
job.

In conclusion, I am very fortunate to have a devoted & supporting instructor like Mr. Tan.

I was a student at this hell that they call job corps.
They treat you as if you are a prisoner. You can’t leave campus when ever you want. You can’t drink or smoke when ever you want. When I was attending this school Chuck was the one who handled people who couldn’t fallow the rules and he thought he was better than everyone else. I wouldn’t recommend going to this place.

I attended the Material Handling Class at San Jose Job Corps, it is a really nice class where you can learn about the logistics industry and get all the credentials you need to be easily employed in this field.

Our teacher Mr. Tan knows a lot about this trade, whenever we have something we don't understand, he would be willing to explain to us, making sure we all understand. He really does cares for the student's success and well-being.

I learnt a lot at Mr. Tan's Material Handling class and have a bunch wonderful of schoolmates. I am grateful for my stay here in Job Corps.

Francisco brought out the folks from the Job Corps to support two events we hosted. This nice group of young adults volunteered as judges, AV tech, mentors, referees at our robotics events. They were an asset to our events. The young men and women arrived on time, stayed engaged with personal, handled tasks efficiently and remained professional.
It seemed that it was a good experience for both groups as they had an opportunity to use their robotics skills and training to see how they might impact the community in positive ways.
I also had a chance to visit the ample campus. It was clean, easy parking, secure and modern. On my tour we visited the very large multipurpose room-it was very nice, conference room and some offices. The staff was courteous and focused.
We would recommend companies give opportunities to this group when the occasion arises.

I recently had the pleasure of taking Mr. Tan's Material Handling class at Job Corps, and it was an incredibly enriching experience. Mr. Tan's expertise in the field is evident from the very first class. He brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience, which he shares with enthusiasm and clarity.

The course content is well-structured, covering everything from basic principles of material handling to advanced techniques and safety protocols. Mr. Tan's teaching style is engaging and interactive, ensuring that students not only understand the material but also can apply it in real-world scenarios. He uses a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on demonstrations, group activities, and multimedia presentations, which cater to different learning styles and keep the class interesting.

One of the standout aspects of Mr. Tan's class is his commitment to safety. He emphasizes the importance of adhering to safety standards and protocols, which is crucial in the material handling industry. His real-life examples and anecdotes help to underscore the potential risks and the best practices to mitigate them.

Mr. Tan is also very approachable and supportive. He encourages questions and is always willing to provide additional explanations or one-on-one assistance if needed. His dedication to his students' success is apparent, and he goes above and beyond to ensure everyone grasps the material.

Overall, Mr. Tan's Material Handling class is a must for anyone looking to gain a thorough understanding of the field. His expertise, engaging teaching style, and emphasis on safety make it an invaluable part of the Job Corps program. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in pursuing a career in material handling or enhancing their skills in this area.
