Unfortunately I have tried to get some assistance from meals on wheels for about 6weeks and I have been getting the run around. I’m 64 yrs old. I had a surgery on March 5. My left breast was removed due to cancer. I was looking for 2 weeks of service. When I called this morning I still haven’t been added to the list witch made me really upset. My neighbors gets it and they live with family and as soon is delivered they take off in the car. In my situation I can’t drive, cook, laundry, etc. My movement has been restricted to below my waistline and they won’t help me. I wish a supervisor would look on files to see if everyone that gets this service is because they really needed. I’m very disappointed.

I want to ask if the city law enforcement department has the right to ask the employees of the enforced company to show their ID and be photographed for review during the law enforcement process? If so, which article of the Constitution can you please explain? If not, can I sue the law enforcement officers? They even asked me to sue them in all seriousness. It's so infuriating!

We pull permits at dozens of cities across southern ca from Long Beach to palm desert & Temecula to big bear. This is the worst city by far to work with. After coming into the office we were told we had the wrong forms. We redid the forms and were told in anther visit again our forms were wrong, that the original forms were correct.

They were asking for a detailed, full home floor plan with room measurements and exact window measurements for every room in the house when the only thing we were touching was the shower.

With all the misinformation we ended up going down there 4 separate time to try to figure it out. And again, we pull permits all across So cal so we know the standard processes.

People are rude. I left messages between the times that we visited in person taht were never returned. Absolute nightmare to work with this city and I don’t think the employees have a clue what they are doing.

One star for parking enforcing during COVID19 pandemic. Left my car for 15 minutes, didn't see any sign. Got ticket for $ 58. Payed 61.50. Have no job. Payed my gas money for two weeks. Other cities has understanding and compassion for people, and not enforcing tickets at the moment. The officials of El Monte, who is responsible for parking enforcement , seems to be don't care apout the people.

Only leaving a one star because I can’t leave no star, yet even then the city fails to supply the appropriate safety measures needed to keep its community safe. Today for example I have a live possum underneath my car and I’ve attempted to contact animal control, and all of city hall services are closed.

The city will fine elderly+disabled people for not mowing their lawn. They have enforcement officers with no compassion for the community like others said. The direction this city is headed is downhill...
