Wir sind aus Deutschland zu Besuch bei Freunden in Joseph City. Unsere Freunde hatten uns zum Angeln dorthin eingeladen. Die Landschaft ist sehr schön, wir haben den ganzen Tag auf dem Wasser zugebracht. Um den Canyon voll zu genießen ist aber ein Boot von Vorteil. Die Fische haben auch gut angebissen.

First time here and we love this pace ppl are friendly and camping price is reasonable they do have bathroom they are not the best but over all we will be coming back to camp often.

No potable water, but it does have toilets with running water. Showers are inoperative at the moment. Trash dumpster at the campsite if needed. Camping is right on the water. No trees for canopy. Sites have concrete picnic tables. Watch for goatheads near the shore. (Stickers) Lots of different birds if you're a birder. Great place to kayak and fish for rainbow trout. Camping is $15/day.

Arrived late at night and left before sun up. Everyone was nice and respectful campers. Made a friend with camper near by, they couldn't stop telling me how much the family enjoyed thier evening there. 3 stars only because I wasn't punctual.

Little park area is nice but, 15 for camping here is outrageous. No showers, they are broken. Bathroom out of a horror movie. A tremendous amount of trash. Sure it’s probably nice to play in the park and fish. But that’s about it.

The City try’s is best to keep it clean and so do the camps host as we saw both city workers and the host walking around picking up trash. since it has become $15 a night they have made a beach area were you camp and a kayak launching ramp on the ramada side. it is a nice little weekend trip for dry camping. The camp hosts are from Winslow so they are very knowledgeable about the area and very nice and willing to help no matter the circumstances. They do have bathrooms but no showers as they are out of order. Camp sites are right by the water for good fishing or you can park up above if you do not like bugs as they are worse down by the water than on the upper campsites.

Pretty nice place. Not much in the shade department but a towns well kept secret! 4th of July was not busy, night time the stars are vibrant and seem as if you could reach out n touch them. everyone very courteous. Super nice can't wait to go again.
