I cancelled an order three times and they delivered it anyway. I emailed once and called to cancel twice and told them I did not want auto delivery and was assured it was changed then it was delivered while I was working.

After several failed attempts on their automated system to contact them, I'm charging them a storage fee for the tank that they won't pickup.
Since Amerigas purchased Synergy, the service is non- existent and you can't reach a person to talk with.
If you are considering a propane service, definitely don't use Amerigas.

Edit: After this post Amerigas contacted me and they want $400 to remove the tank.
They said it was in my contract.
The original company I got the tank from has changed owners several times over the past few years.
I never signed a contract with these stipulations.
If you are having the same problems contact the Federal Trade Commission.
Amerigas isn't sincere about anything.
They have many classes action lawsuits already in process against them.
Google this info, it is widely available.

Debbie read my review about a billing issue I had called in about. The overseas service that answers the calls, didn't resolve my issue. They kept going in circles. In frustration I filled out the review. Debbie read and corrected the issue. Thank you Debbie!

I ordered our propane online. It came when they said it would and I didn't even know he'd come. Never have to worry about getting my propane on time.

To say I'm frustrated with this company would be an understatement. It started with multiple calls to get a delivery because our tank was at 6%. Now mind you we are set up on automatic delivery where they are supposed to check our tank and fill as needed and yet the last delivery we got was in December and here we are in May.
It took multiple calls to get the delivery, their "customer care" has employees that speak very little English and struggle to comprehend even simple statements.
We finally get a delivery in June and the number of gallons they stated we would be charged, is 55 gallons less than what we received, I called within hours of the delivery to inform them and was told it was forwarded to complaint department and someone would reach out; we never heard back. I called and they have no documentation of my phone call despite my call log on my phone and an email survey asking about my experience with said call.
I was informed by the new rep they would be sending someone to check the gauges. It been almost two weeks we have not heard back. I called today and they stated the service request was blocked by AmeriGas, she didn't know why and she would have to place another request and someone should reach out in another 7-10 days.
This company has expanded to a number of customers they can't effectively manage, nor care about. Its a disgrace.
They have also eliminated their offices where you can walk in and speak to an employee.
If you have an option to use another company, I highly recommend you go with them and save yourself the headache.

By not being able to pay for my gas when it's ordered is a real bad situation for me! My gas was delivered OK but when the bill was finally sent, we were out of stated and had our mail forwarded which took us past the bill pay time. The email statement was also not delivered in time to prevent the late charge. I was finally able to make a call in a few day and the agent was very helpful! I appreciate that. The next time I need gas something has to change if I'm to keep this service. I never had this issue for 17 years when the company was Coleman! I'm not at all happy with the grief this caused!

Price per gallon was higher than competitors. Then you offer a special Fter you billed me. You don't have a representative local to confirm any information about the price or the delivery date. Gave me a date and time for delivery and then showed up the next day. A week later you sent me a bill for 30 cents?
