My son and I stayed in the Diplomat II RV and it was the perfect home base while exploring Lake County! Easy parking and check-in plus a central location to all the best spots around the Lake. We met the owner who was extremely nice, as were all of the employees. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a rustic good time!

I cannot recommend Blue Lakes Village enough! I stayed for a night in one of their retro RVs and it exceeded all of my expectations. The RV was beautifully decorated and kept the original's vintage vibes and character while adding plenty of comfort. While I was there for just one night, it was packed with plenty of amenities for a longer stay, like a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hot plates, dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. The village also had a cute garden and dog park. But nothing can beat the setting—crystal clear night skies, peace and quiet, and of course the beautiful lake right across the road. I loved my stay at Blue Lakes Village and I will definitely be back!

Blue Lakes Village RV is the worst place we've stayed at on our 30 days of travels to federal, state and private parks. At $105 for a one night stay, we were expecting a nice, almost resort park. Blue Lakes Village is anything but that. The park roads were narrow and the sites small. Our 25' Class C and toad barely fit in site #10. It had no picnic table or fire ring (not that one could be used with the forest fire hazards). There was no WiFi, cable TV or clear site for satellite TV. The park has two unisex bathrooms, two unisex showers, and a laundry with 2 washers and 2 dryers. They look clean, but roughly built. The shower stalls were tiny. The staff seemed nice enough on the phone months ago. We came in on Labor Day and had no contact with them since the office was closed. The public area with a fountain, hammock and chairs was attractive, but it was locked for Labor Day, too. We went to the beach access -- one of the amenities, entered the code, and looked around for the silver box to open as instructed. There was no silver box. We could not open the gate. Maybe they took away the silver box due to it being Labor Day, the one day everyone wants to go to a beach. Who knows?! The garbage and recycling bins were filled over the top. There was no room for our daily trash. Remember, we paid $105 for this. On a good note, it was quiet, shaded and had a few redwoods. Its "Rooms" get 2 Google stars for the dog yard. It was large and had hammocks, a shelter and nice seats. Most of it was redwood. The gap under one of the gates needs to be fixed. Signs are up about picking up after your dog, and bags are available. The message hasn't gotten through to some big dog owners -- not the park's fault. The piles of poop make the hammocks and other nice areas of the dog yard less attractive, though. There are gardens mentioned in the park's promotions -- lots of raised beds in a side lot -- with signs to stay away from them. The park seems to be mostly filled with long-term-stay residents and tiny houses for rent or sale. We got so much less than any other place we've been to and paid so much more -- $105 -- for the experience. We don't usually stay in places this expensive. It's not that the park didn't meet our high standards. It didn't meet our lowest standards. Travelers, don't make the same mistake.

We stayed at Blue Lake Village for less than 2 months for work. Unfortunately there weren’t a lot of options to park our rv for the 2 months. We decided to go ahead and stay there even though the deposit was $850! Higher than any resort we have stayed at. Mind you, we travel for a living so we have stayed in MANY rv parks across California. The park sin’t bad by any means but it isn’t the nicest either. We got our first power bill and it was over $500! They said, oops, we forgot to read the meter when you moved in. They gave us back $147. Still, highest power we have had and we usually stay in Redding which has extreme heat! I quit using their laundry room because I had clean out the machines just to use them. It’s dingy and full of spider webs and bugs. Then it came time to leave and we’re told we won’t get our deposit back for 21 days; they said California law that they have that long to return. I have a friend looking into the laws governing rv parks to see if that’s true. Anyways, day 20 and we still don’t have it. I have NEVER waited to get my deposit!!! And, we left on the 15th of the month and they did not prorate our rent. Never had that either!

The Tiny Home was awesome and we will stay there again. The prices was the same as a lower end Hotel in Ukiah with a better views and just 15min from town.

This RV park is definitely NOT a resort! We paid (with tax) $96 per night for a 50 amp hookup on a gravel pad with a view of a run down Airstream with flat tires that had obviously been there for a very long time (park is mostly full time occupants). Acrosd the street is Pine Acres RV Park, I much nicer park with beach front sites for $70 per night. They brag about their private beach access which is across a very busy hwy 20 with no parking. The "beach" is dirt with over grown weeds and bushes which is about 10 feet in length and can accommodate maybe 6 chairs. It is a joke. I would give this park a 1 star, but the staff was very friendly and they have a nice dog area. Needless to say, this place is a $45 - 50 per night park even in today's high rv park pricing. We will not be back and would recommend any looking for a place to stay at Blue Lakes to avoid this park.

This place was amazing!!! I couldn't get over how nice the tiny home was. The owner and manager were very nice people! Beach access was close and alos very nice. The area where we bbqd was nice. It had some outdoor games also. The tiny home had everything we could need and was soo comfortable!!! I highly recommend it and will surely stay again!!!

Awesome RV park right across the street from the Blue Lakes! The park itself is well-maintained, and most of the RV sites are well-shaded. The park has a relaxed camping vibe, with lots of trees throughout. There are hammocks and shaded picnic tables in the park, a spacious dog park, a beautiful community garden, and some lawn games (horseshoe, cornhole, connect four). There are also a couple of super cute retro trailers and modern tiny homes that can be rented. Management is friendly and very helpful! The Blue Lakes are mostly, if not exclusively, private access, and most of the surrounding businesses charge $25/person just for a day use pass. Blue Lakes Village RV Park provides access to the lake when staying in the park (it has its own private gate and private dock). The lodge across the street rents out boats, but we personally enjoy swimming in the lake and spending time on our paddle board. We haven't fished in the lake, but we have seen people fishing, and catching bass and trout.
Highly recommend Blue Lakes Village RV park!
