Just ok. Made an appointment a few days out and was told the salesperson would be in contact....never heard from him. Showed up at the time we had agreed upon on the phone and the one salesperson who was there alone was busy with someone else. We waited a half and hour, looked at a few homes and decided to go elsewhere. The mold odor in the office was another big turn off. Thanks but just wasn't impressed.

Thank you for the response, but the folks looking for a home (my daughter and her fiance) were in town for only that week. They couldn't wait and found another option that they were happier with.

These folks at Clayton in Cullman are wonderful to work with! Lori is as great as they come, but from the top management to the guys that delivered our home to our trim guy....everything was done perfectly! They listened to me every step of the way, answered all my questions and helped us get exactly what we wanted at exactly the right price point. They were spot on with the timeline it would take from purchase date to build date to delivery date. Our set up guys had it delived and set up in a couple of days and the trim guy was out almost immediately afterwards and did a perfect job and cleaned it up spotless when he was done. I don't recommend a lot of places, but I recommend Lori and her co-workers at Clayton. Thanks yall for our perfect home!!! We love it!!!

The sale lady we had was Virginia and she was EXCELLENT!
However they are NOT true to their word at all (not her) the warranty people there and repair guys there are an absolute joke! We got a new home from them and have had nothing but issues out of them coming out to make things right.
Our linoleum flooring is completely messed up due to nail heads/staples coming up from the subfloor, their response was “it’s cosmetic and not our problem”. It’s not our faults as customers, it is the manufacture’s issue that needs to be addressed through Clayton homes! Also they added a sliding glass door when we told them out of the gate we didn’t want a sliding glass door and wanted the windows there. They didn’t listen and we got a sliding glass door. Any time we got a repairman out here I was made to feel like we were being petty or dumb but we spent over 100k on our home and I bought a new home so I didn’t have to do a ton of work…surprise, I still gotta do the work because the “warranty” is not a warranty because it’s all cosmetic and our fault. Do not recommend the business done here! Avoid at all cost!

I’m so happy to be able to purchase a home from this place and it is beautiful. I would like to thank Virginia she was amazing and love the way she has done stuff and was on top of everything. She got the ball running and has want above and beyond to help us out and get us out of black mold. I recommended them and I look forward to been happy again. We will never buy from them again, we tell everyone who asks us about our home NOT to go there. The buying process is great and Sara is great. However, after the home is delivered it takes them forever to get everything done so you can move in and after you move in, you can call with things they need to fix and the do a terrible job fixing them. Tom is the one who is over repairs and such, he is awful. He has an attitude, will not call you back unless you call several times, and just generally doesn’t want to help people. NEVER again. Terrible experience and I hope someone steps up to fix these issues.
