I've had a handful of live edge custom furniture pieces made. This is the place for it. Great quality and excellent service. And an incredible option of slabs to choose from. You select your wood slap, and they will consult with you about design, legs, stain and finish, etc, and make you the custom piece that you want. And the workmanship is meticulous. They finish the slabs in-house. Highly recommend.

The place is so marvelous that a person can spend ages exploring the artefacts and the old furniture made out of precious wood is awesome. I have not seen anything like that in this world. Each piece has a beautiful story and the David Alan team knows how to serve their customers needs. Wow!!! Kudos to David Alan

Beautiful place with a great assortment of home furnishings, jewelry and VINTAGE KIMONOS. The owner was very nice and greeted us when we came in and even showed us to his extensive collection of vintage kimonos. Be sure to check them out.

The place is like a museum but you get to purchase the artifacts. It's a great place if you are a collector with expensive tastes or simply looking for a nice unique gift on a budget. There is a ton of jewelry, clothing, furniture, and decor. It's honestly just a fun place to take a look. The staff is super nice and helpful. They always had a smile on their face.

I went to Solana Beach on Cedros Avenue to find something unique & different for my home. Lately, a lot of the current magazines are showing organic, rustic designs of coffee, tables, and credenzas in homes. I stumbled across David Allen on Cedros Ave, because I couldn’t help but notice how awesome his storefront was on showing all these cool furniture pieces.
This place was awesome! I love how friendly and knowledgeable his staff was. Not only did I pick up a coffee table but I had them custom make me an amazing walnut dining table that now is featured as the most talked about peace in my home!

I saw a man doing a travel video recently and the employees from this store were very rude to the man who was not only legally videoing, but also doing so in a perfectly socially acceptable manner. Satori was a nice business in the same video, very nice and inviting. If im in the area I'll make an effort to visit Satori and will make an equal effort to avoid David Alan Collection
