I was looking for color hot glue gun sticks, which is a very unusual item to find, however it was available at the Davis store n able to purchased it, they 4 packages left so I bought them before they're gone, you can use them in crafts, even wood or to parch scratches on wood with the same color, I'm hoping to be able to go n get more

I love Ace Hardware in DaviS California. They are truly the helpful place. I needed specific screws and had no idea which size they were. I had pulled them out of a piece of furniture that was missing some and I needed more of the same. But when I went to Ace, they took my screws and they found exactly the ones I needed by placing them into nuts and based on the size of the nut that would be the size of the screw I needed. And they were super friendly. In addition, I needed some wood cut in specific sizes so I could mount something on it after mounting the wood onto the wall. And the gentleman cut the wood for me in the specific sizes I needed and then helped me pick out the right wood screws to use. All with a smile and a great attitude. Thank you very much Ace for being helpful place. And also the friendly place.

Best hardware, home and garden store in town! Davis Ace Hardware is the place in Davis to find anything related to home improvement, housewares, gardening supplies and so much more. All the staff here is always very friendly and helpful. This location has two buildings with the outdoor garden and plant area in the middle. The larger building is a more traditional hardware and paint store with the other building having more of the outdoor and patio products. Support your local ACE!

Well stocked, friendly employees, decent prices! I’ll have to come back to browse the plants. Parking lot was a little confusing at first, the gated area is for the inventory trucks, not the public 😅 I looked like a dumbo sitting there thinking the gate would open up lol

The best home improvement store in Davis. It’s not huge, but has all the items that you might need for home repairs, and saves a lot of time - no need to drive all the way to Woodland or West Sacramento! Can’t complain!

I can always find everything I need in a minute, at reasonable prices. The staffs are very professional and helpful. This store helped me so much with my moves. Always have more to explore. A gem at Davis!
