Small square in Davis, nice to hang around. There are many restaurants and a clock in the middle of the plaza. From time to time there are some street shows with fire dancers that can be watched for free. At Xmas there is a beautiful tree too. Overall a great place in Davis

The parking lot is in an excellent place with parking and lots of shops of all kinds. Among them are fast food restaurants, ice cream parlors, hair salons, etc. Once every few weeks there are events in the area that you can go to and enjoy music and good food.

First off, my very favorite thing about this plaza is Fire University. Every Thursday night for over 16 years we have been teaching fire-dancing for free, never accepting donations as we are radically self-reliant, and we cannot be hired. It's a great date-night, and everyone is welcome to try their hand at fire-dancing. There is also excellent food, at least 3 ice-cream shops within sight, as well as the Kava Bar.

In short - it's my favorite thing in Davis. You may find Fire University on FB for more information.

I found this place completely by accident and I got hooked!! Jose has been cutting, coloring, trimming, and treating my hair for about 5 years now!!!
Jose is incredible. He is communicative and very precise. He actually LISTENS to his customers and gives me great advice.
I absolutely love this place and feel lucky for finding it. It is not easy to find the perfect hair dresser, believe me!!

Armadillo Records-Paul is the best
E street saloon- Jose is the best
Parking could be difficult, the parking meter ticket machine is clunky.
Tip-take a picture of your license plate before buying a ticket, it expedites the process.

I enjoy the square, but there are always homeless people lying around and smoking. I don't like my kids near that.

Lots of nice shops around this area. Parking lot is free after 6 pm and on Sundays and holidays. It fills up very easily and can be hard to find parking here.
