I like Golden 1 as a credit union bank this particular Credit Union is my favorite in Sacramento because they take care of their members but this particular branch on Florin Road has to have the longest lines at all times any time you coming to this Bank guaranteed 20-minute wait minimum. Really busy and you would think that they would know that they're understaffed for as many members that utilizes facility come on Golden One Step It Up

Poor customer service communications. Husband didn't realize his card expired asked an representatives she asked him if he use his card often, he said no, she said then why should we send you a card if you don't use it you know what I mean...There's always a better and professional answer for your Loyal/customers. Here's 1. Am Sorry(we know it's not your fault) we can always order you one here, they stop sending cards out... and if you don't have time we can use your ID... I believe customer service play a BIG role in everything, #1 reason why they hire us.

This is the bank i started my accounts with Golden 1! This is were i always go to deal with something i can't do over the phone, like the time i was scammed over the phone. I came into this bank n they took their time to make sure I got every penny back into my accounts. This is the bank who blocked my accounts asa they saw another fraudulent withdrawal from one of my accounts. I had to go back into the bank to get another new card, the clerk who assisted me was great. She was incredibly patient with me, very kind, n had no problems with me depositing my check with her as well. I read the negative reviews n their issues have never been my issues, so with that being said I will always come to this bank. The security guard is a sweetheart nmw time of the day, he always has a smile, n does what he can to assist your needs. One thing that needs to be addressed is customer service when calling this bank. I was told i'm never to give the last 4 digits of my ssn because Golden 1 customer service doesn't ask for it n that's not true! I get ask that eveytime i call this branch. I even asked the clerk the last time i was in, she said she always asked. The other clerks said they do to. That needs to be figured out amongst the staff, because customer service is asking something i was told y'all don't ask for n to never give it out. I no longer give it out anymore after getting scammed. Customer service is accepting of this but still say they r to ask. That's my only issue. I'm not going to freely give that out over the phone anymore. That's the whole reason for the security question. My daughter banks with the other Golden 1 on Florin n it's just as busy during certain times. All banks have peak periods so go early on a weekday r right after lunch hrs, in other words try to beat the crowd, cause just like any other bank this bank has times in the weekdays that it's not that busy. Be mindful n you'll figure it out.

Terrible bank. There's always a broken ATM with 20 people in line! Went inside because it was hot outside and the long line. Went up to the cashier and told them I wanted to make a deposit in my safe credit account. The lady says, "im sorry! You have to make a deposit at the ATM only."
Wow. This is exactly why I stopped banking here.

GOLDEN 1 CREDIT UNION CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST EVER THE LINE IS OUT THE DOOR AND THEY HAVE ONLY 2 TELLERS AND 4 MANAGERS WALKING AROUND TALKING ABOUT SORRY INSTEAD OF HELPING CUSTOMERS WHEN MULTIPLE PEOPLE INCLUDING MYSELF ASKED WHY THEY AREN’T HELPING THEY HAD THE NERVE TO SAY THEY DON’T DO TELLER ANYMORE THIS IS ONE SAD BRANCH.

ATM malfunctioned on a $500 cash deposit. Went inside to get it resolved. Jose Calderon was the teller that submitted my claim. Advised me to call Member Services by 5pm. But by 230pm I couldn't wait anymore and called to follow up. The lady with Member Services said there was never a claim. She made one and stated that it could take about 10 business days for it to be resolved. I asked for provisional credit so I can pay my bills today. They couldn't give me any. I can't trust these ATM machines after this incident. And based on other negative reviews I won't be coming to this location anymore.

I just visited this branch a while ago for the first time and got a bad customer service . My mom works 12 hr shift frm 7am - 7pm (mon-sat) , she had given me her debit card to go to the bank and deposit her check since ur ATM Machine never takes her check . the teller took my ID and Moms card and later saying she cannot return it cause it doesnt belongs to me . I told her that shes my Mom and if ur ATM would take her check i wouldnt have come In to deposit . This branch is very poor in customer service compared to Elk Grove blvd branch , they would only take few minutes and im good to go . The teller also didnt ask me in which acc to deposit (savings or checking) she just did it all by her self and just gave me a paper receipt and also no greetings .
