Ms. Guerrero does a great job when preparing your taxes....when you can get in touch with her. In 2022 I called her several times to set up a time to prepare my taxes for 2021. She never returned my calls and only happen to catch her leaving her office so I set up an appointment. Last year I called numerous times and never received a call back. I still haven't filed my 2022 taxes. I don't think I'll try her again this year because she never calls me back. When she prepared my taxes she did a great job with a reasonable price but it's just too hard to contact her.

I've had my taxes done by Hortensia for 16 years. I had an appointment for 4/7/22 at 9:00 AM. I arrived to find a young couple there. Hortensia told me her assistant put me in for the following week and she took the other people. I knew something was wrong. When I came back for my taxes her assistant, Liz, told me Hortensia booked another couple without telling Liz and put them in the book after me. Liz showed me the appointment book and I saw for myself that I was the first one booked for 4/7. Hortensia lied to me and she lied about Liz. I don't trust this woman.
2/4/23 After my experience with Ms. Guerrero I sent her a card to tell her I knew she lied to me. I told her that as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist I understand occasionally overbooking clients/patients. When it happens you 1)be friendly 2)apologize and 3)work it out amicably. Ms G. did none of those things. She flipped through the pages of the appt. book and repeatedly said to me, "Liz put you in for next week." It was tense, awkward and uncomfortable for everyone involved. I told Ms. G. I answer to the Board of Psychology and if I lied to a patient I could lose my license. Apparently the Board of Consumer Affairs doesn't monitor the ethics of tax preparers. I never heard anything back. I'm shocked that Ms. G. responded to my review with more falsehoods. She tried to rewrite the narrative from 4/7 using my words. Very troublesome behavior to misrepresent what happened. Interesting she waited 9 months, until tax time, to respond to my review and never responded to my card. I do not recommend this business.
