I found this wonderful shop a bit by accident but I'm so glad I did. They were so welcoming, from the atmosphere to the staff. Given the times we are enduring right now, it was definitely a safe place to be.

The pre-service was prompt, forms were easy to fill out and they walked me through a nice selection of jewelry. When I got called for my service, the piercer was so nice and thorough in explaining what was going on.

I am so happy I found this business and I hope to be back several times.

Great service! The staff are all lovely and friendly. Highly recommend getting an appointment ahead of time otherwise the wait time can be pretty long if busy. There's also a great selection of jewelry, and if they don't have your color or style, you can even ask for a custom order. Would and will come back!

Update: came back and still awesome service! Staff were quick to help and were friendly.

I LOVE this shop. Nash has pierced me many times and they’re very professional and creative if you want to bounce ideas back and forth. (I ended up with a really cool set of double conch studs on Nash’s recommendation and it looks absolutely sick.) The piercers are all APP certified and attend frequent trainings etc to keep up to date.

Excellent piercing advice, good selection of jewelry and all of my piercings have healed very well. Also nice that you can bring in old jewelry that meets the specs and the shop can sterilize it for you for reuse in a new piercing.

Jewelry has a good range of prices as well — their cheapest pieces are around $30 which is very fair for quality materials. I haven’t brought any kids there but I’ve seen younger kids in the shop and the staff have been great with keeping them calm and giving them piercings.

Sadly I’m no longer in Berkeley so I have to find a new shop but I’ll miss this one a ton.

I got my industrial piercing done here a couple days ago, and it was definitely the easiest and most painless piercing process ever. The piercer did such a good job!! It looks perfect. I would highly recommend this place to anyone getting any piercing, and I will for sure be coming back here for myself!

I’ve had 10 piercings at Industrial in the past year. I really love the studio & the folks I’ve worked with. Lysa, Nash & Marina are experts that I’ve come to trust & rely on. I bring my family & friends there as well.

The only reason I’m not giving a 5th star is because sometime the counter staff includes jewelry in the amount calculated for the tip instead of just tipping solely on service. .

Super helpful, friendly staff. They walked me through all the jewelry options for a double helix piercing, guiding me to choices that would match my aesthetics while healing well. The piercing itself was quick and easy, with lots of explanation of what was happening. Not pain free, but realistically as minimal as can be expected for something like this. (I have seven piercings at this point, done at 3 different places, so I have a reasonable basis for comparison.)

A year later and everything has healed perfectly. The gave me great aftercare instructions and handled downsizing quickly on follow up appointments, answering all my extra questions. Love my piercings and the gorgeous jewelry they sold me.

I came back to Industrial to have my tongue re-pierced (I had it done a decade ago but took it out a couple of years ago) and would happily have them do anything else in the future.

We were happy with how my daughter’s piercing went, but when we returned for aftercare (downsizing), they refused to accommodate our family’s situation in the coming month. Specifically, as I will be out of the country, we asked them to allow her stepfather to accompany her for any needed aftercare during that time. They categorically refused to help in any way, not even accepting a power of attorney from me. He was there with me, prepared to have his ID registered with them.
But no. They refused to let anyone accompany my daughter except a legal guardian, even if she has none in the US for a month.
They then refused to let me speak personally to the manager. They were obviously completely unconcerned about my daughter needing care. They said ridiculous things, like “perhaps we would realize that her stepfather is actually a legal guardian”. They claimed their insurance policy would not let them offer us a solution.
So should anything happen with this new piercing, my daughter will have to go to the emergency room and have it removed. Apparently CYA is the standard of care at Industrial. Go elsewhere.

Great people and piercings! I love the inclusive space! All of the piercers were accepting and kind when using my brother's pronouns and supporting him with his anxieties about piercing. They were patient, understanding and even humored our sibling jokes. Very kind crew! I highly recommend this place!
