Lunardi's Markets is one of my favorite stores. Everything is fresh and great quality. Homemade pasta is delicious.
Bread is so good. Employees are nice and polite and are always ready to help.my son loves to walk around pushing the little shopping car's they are so cute.
We definitely enjoy every time we come to shop here.

Si lo que buscas es un lugar donde comprar ingredientes para una receta Italiana este es el lugar,pasta fresca y con un sabor esquisito.
Chorizo fresco y delicioso, salsas frescas que aran de tu platillo un manjar.
Ademas tienen esos cartitos de compras para los nińos eso ara que los nińos amen estar en esta tienda y sea toda una experiencia el comprar aqui.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. Despite the building being older, it is remarkably well maintained.

When I entered the building, I was greeted with a huge black smear of dirt and whatever it was all over the floor. I was VERY impressed that after a one aisle lap, the spill had been cleaned up like it never happened. This impressed me even more, having realized just how busy the place was.

There were employees everywhere, and yet they never were in my way. They were filling the shelves as fast as they were being emptied. I was extremely impressed with how well stocked everything was despite being crazy busy. Not only were the shelves stocked full.... the selection of the items was very diverse, and if you wanted it.... they had it.

The meat department was wildly impressive. The selection of what was available may be the best of anywhere you could think. Wanting PRIME beef was readily available, which says a lot... if you know meat.

Upon checkout, I was immediately motioned by a gentleman working a cash register. Immediately. He took my cart and unloaded it while a bagger efficiently bagged it up. I had a choice of paper or plastic bags, which caused me to flashback to my youth when it was always a choice.

I hope the employees are well compensated because the spirit in this store is because of them and the culture....or at least that what I experienced during my ninty minute expedition.

This is quite possibly the nicest, most pleasant grocery shopping experience I have ever had.

I always try to support our local Lunardi's, you can get other staples cheaper at the "big" grocery store, yea, but you don't get a full meat dept with a butcher, special orders, select cuts, and personalized service. The bakery is great, love the fruit tarts, chocolate fudge or dobash cake. The produce is always better here.

I have just moved to San Jose and have been here twice. Both times the facility was very clean and nice, the customer service e was excellent and it reminds me of a simpler time in the 80s or 90s before walmart / target type stores.

I enjoy this place and am willing to support them over the huge conglomerates to be honest. Cheers

Older neighborhood market, past it's prime. The physical space is badly in need of an upgrade. The floors are old tile, the lights are flickering fluorescent, and the ceiling is a stained styrofoam type of lowered tiles. The overall impression is one of tiredness.
The produce department is very nice with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables.
I am a vegetarian so I can't judge the meat but the display is immaculate. Huge variety all neatly displayed. They employ Union butchers and the quality and professionalism shows.
The store employees were cheerful and helpful. The shelves were organized and fully stocked.
They offer a large deli and a popular soup buffet. Food prep areas are clean and organized.
The bakery department offered a selection of breads, cookies, and pies.
There were refrigerated cases and frozen food coolers.
All in all a good market but hope they refurbish soon.
