IF YOU DONT HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SALES DONT SHOP HERE!
First things first me and my wife go to look at a Acura TIx with advertised 512 miles on it when we get to the dealer it has close to 700 miles on it. They let us test drive with no hassle which I do appreciate. However once we talk to the finance manager is when things went left my credit is mid 600s hers is 800 plus when we run the credit he says that we are approved around 12% I tell him that is high for our credit scores he try's to blame it on mine. When I tell him my credit Union with my credit offered me 7% he tells me how those days are in the past and this is the new normal.
NOW THE PROBLEM
Eveuntally he goes down to around 8.5 percent.
INTEREST IS NOT NEGOTIABLE WHEN YOU APPLE FOR A CREDIT CARD YOU DON'T NEGOTIATE YOU INTEREST YOU GET APPROVED FOR A CERTAIN RATE THATS IT. SO BASICALLY HE IS RAISING THE INTEREST FOR HIS OWN COMMISSION AND SEEING HOW MUCH HE CAN FINESSE YOU FOR! On top of that I told him I get gap and other warranty's through my insurance and he simply got 2-3 hours refused to take it off trying to discount it! When I kept telling him I don't want it at all there's no need it would talk to his boss where they would literally waste my time acting like there working a deal and come back and tell me some b.s "we're able to take 0.5 interest off" "if you get the warranty I can give you a good discount on the car" they wanted me to buy a 32k car after interest and payments the total would have been 58k and the only thing he could say was "but you can pay it off sooner" when my payments he was quoting was at 825 a month!
Long story short I went to Kia Oakland got 4.5 apr on a
2023 Kia gt gt1 package and my payments are less than 600 a month with zero down LOOK AT THAT! All the employees are in on the scam too they kept running my credit after Ileft and are still calling me trying to get me to pay $800 a month! No thanks stay away from here
Especially if your a minority with good credit they think your dumb and just want to make a sell!

A Big Thanks to Acura Marin for the awesome car shopping experience. It started with a phone call. I spoke to Edmond who was helpful and patient with me on the phone back & forth being I was from out of town about 3hrs away. The 2023 Acura Interga color combo I was looking for very few dealers had in stock in all of California. Finally decided to make the drive and before you know it I was driving back home with the car I wanted Brand New off the Showroom Floor. Would I do it again yes! Would I recommend Acura Marin for your next Car purchase absolutely! No regrets none!
