We had an amazing experience at Mario's Early Toast, where the food was simply outstanding! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a brunch outing. Our server, Margarita, was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure our needs were met throughout our meal. I highly recommend trying their Chile Verde. They also have a wide variety of Gluten free options.
Overall, it was a five-star visit, and I can't wait to return for more delightful dishes and excellent service!

I enjoy dining at the Mario's Early Toast (MET) in Folsom. So when I heard that they opened a new location in El Dorado Hills, I went to check it out. But unfortunately they sat us at the booth in front of the open kitchen counter where the servers pick up the food orders. With a full house of customers, it was so LOUD. I couldn't hear the person across the table from me. I could however hear the kitchen staffs order/conversations, the clanging of kitchenware, the servers shouting to the kitchen staff and vice versa, and the servers conversations amongst themselves. And add the noise from the adjoining booths conversations... yikes it was noisy. Since it was a full house, there were no other available tables without waiting again. So we stuck it out. But by golly, they need to reconsider seating folks at that table. Or at least warn them. I would have been fine to skip that table and wait a bit longer for another.

I ordered my favorite MET "dessert-ish" breakfast, the Maui french toast. It was delicious. Caramelized bananas, chopped nuts, shredded coconut and drizzled caramel sauce over vanilla battered French toast. But by the time I got my food, I had a massive headache from all the loud noises and not feeling it to enjoy my meal. Hubs ordered a cheeseburger and asked for it to be well done. The patty wasn't cooked well though, it came out pinkish. Considering this location is new, I'm sure the kitchen crew will find its groove. Our server, Antonio, was top notch.

This place was amazing! I could eat here every morning for breakfast. They have a super extensive menu with a little bit of something for everyone. The server was incredibly attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was a bit swanky.

The new location is beautifully done with lots of booth seating and a warm and welcoming decor. The servers are well trained and are extremely polite and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious.
We had the Chilaquiles del Chef and the Perfect combo with pancakes. Both were beautifully presented, delicious and generous. The pancakes are a must try.
So happy that we have a such a great place close to home.

I ordered a patty melt. The worst I’ve had in years. There was hardly any meat. The meat was flavorless and bland. The cheese was old and stiff, not “melted“ as one would hope. The bread was fresh, but it was gigantic in proportion to the sandwich. Avoid. My wife stuck with a Mexican favorite for breakfast: heuvos rancheros. She commented that the eggs, tortillas, sauce and cheese were fine. But the side dish, a bowl of beans, or pinto beans with a horrible Tex mix barbecue flavor. Ugh. Not exactly Mexican as advertised. The place is also very crowded with a long wait time and a bit pricey.

Mario’s does the best breakfast ever! So happy they are now in EDH too! And if you have a gluten allergy there is a whole lot to choose from as well as great coffee, fresh squeezed OJ and organic eggs!
