Thanks to Adrian’s patience, I got my dream car after initially changing my mind. I ordered what was a customised car and only had to wait 4 instead of the 6 months you’d normally have to wait. Adrian was amazing help throughout the process… On the day of picking up my car, he made my mum and me feel right at home at the dealership, and was there throughout to provide me the basics, through to answering any questions I had on my new car.. His final words were this isn’t the end just the beginning, as we’re always here to help! Which was a really nice touch, and felt really genuine.

However, while neither his or the dealership’s fault.. Their newish (18 months or so old) customer management system destroys the dealership’s hard work, as it’s an highly confusing experience at the best of times, with communications either breaking down altogether or just eratic when they do occur. It’s a real shame as such a premium product is serviced by what I can only describe as well under par system and worst I’ve ever experienced. And in my line of work as a tech delivery lead I’ve come across so really bad systems, but this one I’d be embarrassed to even show someone, never mind use it with my valued customers… Get it together Mercedes, we’re all aware you’re a car manufacturer but there’s no excuses these days..

After much online research, I found my new car at Mercedes, York. Prior to collecting my new car the communication with the sales person, Freddie, was perfect. He made the whole process stress free, from the moment of my initial enquiry through to collecting me from York train station to see my new car for the first time. Freddie and his manager Josh were honest, knowledgeable, very polite and genuinely excited to show me my new car. As a woman, I have always disliked car shopping however I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you for a genuinely five ? customer service and of course for my fabulous new car.

Wow! This is the word that explains the experience at Mercedes Benz York. Our sales advisor was Adam, what a profession chap. From initial enquiry through to purchase and then down to delivery it has been our best experience in buying a car with a mains dealership. He had been genuine, not pushy, understands the customer and even solves minor issues within a split second. If you are looking at your next Mercedes, I highly recommend Mercedes York and Adam as your sales advisor. Thank you also to the friendly reception, body shop and service. Fairly standard 1st year service, but for an electric vehicle. Only 2 hours, in and out, so very quick (initially said it may be all day 0900-1700). No problem, if it's ready it's ready!!
Car clean is very average, I expected better from Mercedes if I'm honest. Outside was 8/10 decent job. Inside 3/10, really rushed job mainly and the boot is completely ignored...What's the point?!?
Decide to have a closer inspection at home and notice scratches on a rear brake disc Not picked up in this service at all.....

Excellent attentive service received by Olivia and the team today at Mercedes York.

Having suffered a back injury at work, I dropped my car in for service in the morning, the service was done in the timeframe specified, and the vehicle was fully cleaned and parked attentively right at the front of the main entrance so it made it easy to get in the car to drive home.

The communication was excellent with friendly reminder emails, and calls throughout.

Very pleased with the dealership, small attention to detail makes such a difference and adds overall to the Mercedes ownership experience.

Freddie was absolutely amazing when I went to purchase my car. He was extremely knowledgeable and really approachable. I never once felt pressured to buy a car. I have been to other dealerships looking for a car but Mercedes were genuinely far better for customer experience. My car is amazing to drive I am really enjoying it. The customer experience received from start to finish was outstanding in comparison to other Mercedes dealerships that I have visited during my search for a C class. After just one enquiry, Adrian responded promptly and sent me a personalised video. He answered all the questions I had. Adrian went above and beyond his role to make sure that I would not be disappointed with the car that I had chosen and guaranteed that I would like it. He also kindly assisted with travel arrangements which made my trip from London hassle free. On collection I was extremely happy, the car was immaculate and a nice touch by Adrian to unveil the car to me which made the buy even more special.

Could not thank the team at JCT600 MB York enough for a very smooth and quick service in purchasing a new car! I absolutely love my new MB A-Class, runs amazing and looks exactly like it did in the advert. Considering I live in Glasgow and York was about 200 odd miles away I was very apprehensive at first but in the end decided to call the dealership to discuss options and in all honestly I could not have been supported any better. Natassia from start to finish needs to be recognised for the efforts she went to by not only covering all aspects of the purchase, picking me up from York train station after a 4.5 hour journey, or even the ‘unveiling’ of my new car (which is something I’ve not had before and is a very nice touch btw), but her after care and engagement with me to ensure everything was good has made this one of the best dealerships I have ever purchased a car from! Paul and the rest of his team I spoke with also made it very pleasant. I can say with confidence and experience that they truly take pride in their company, their cars and value their customers ? I just wish I asked for one of their Mercedes Shell Suit Jackets to go with my MB ?.
