Our second Mercedes from Mercland was delivered today so we are returning customers. Very pleased with it. The vehicle is in lovely condition. The purchase to delivery time was two days and we are around 170 miles away from their showroom so that is a great service. Jay Manek was excellent throughout. I would highly recommend Mercland.

Probably the best car sales company I have ever bought a car from.
Fantastic service from start to end.
The sales, finance and service team have been excellent.
I would definitely buy a car from them again and would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to buy a car from them.
Their cars come with a 6 month warranty which is amazing also.

I reserved a C Class Mercedes and booked an appointment to view the car on the same day, the lady I spoke to confirmed the booking and told me that the car is not ready for collection on the same day but they have the option that the car to be delivered on our door step and I chose that option too. I drove 2 hours to check the car and what I heard from the staff was still unbelievable and shocking, he simply asked me the vehicle reg which I reserved and was told that they sold it to another customer.

They said another customer reserved it too, is it possible? They said yes. They have falsely advertised that they are trading for the past 30 years while they don’t have a system where only a single customer can reserve a car at a time.When I asked them about reservation, time and effort? They didn’t have any answers except just sorry. I wanted to talk to the sales manager and he didn’t come out from the office and the unprofessional staff dealt with me in very rude manner.

They still wanted to sell me another similar car. My question was, is this the only car in the market? You are the only dealer in the UK? The only reason I came to you was I liked that particular car so I paid and reserved it. I didn’t believe the bad reviews left by other customers experience until I had this bad experience before bought the car. Now I imagine how they would have treated me once I bought the car.

Please don’t take a chance.

I recently purchased a second-hand car from your company, and I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the excellent service I received. Although buying a second-hand car can sometimes come with a few imperfections, I was thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail your team provided. The repainted bumper and driver's door were completed to a high standard, and the wheels were painted beautifully as well.

I am so glad I chose to come to Mercland for my purchase. The full service and additional care exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning for future services and other needs.

Be careful !! Mercland offer a 5 day reservation service on their website, I called their sales representative, spoke with one of their sales teams who told me to reserve a vehicle I was interested in. I went away on holiday, after 2 days they sold the vehicle I reserved. They then claimed it was my fault for not answering the phone. What’s the point in offering a service that you cannot fulfill ? Very rude staff, can’t imagine what after care sales is like. Please avoid.

It’s a 2 star from me on this occasion and it’s a fair reflection of my experience with Mercland.

This was an online purchase - the vehicle looked stunning on the advert and based on some glowing reviews about Mercland and in house 6 month warranty, I felt like a viewing wasn’t needed as there was an element of trust and reassurance already there.

When the vehicle was delivered there was slight cosmetic issue with the bumper, rang the sales number and spoke to Vish before the handover, I was assured this can be easily fixed locally to me. The initial plan was Mercland would try find someone local to me, but unfortunately after accepting delivery of the vehicle they could not find someone offering a reasonable quote. I also tried to find someone local and managed to get two quotes, (both which were deemed unreasonable by Mercland), and was then advised to bring the vehicle back to Mercland in Nuneaton. I had already expressed my concern that it’s just not convenient for me to bring the vehicle to Mercland due to the distance, time and effort (hence why this was an online sale in the first place). If I was told at handover stage that I would have to bring the vehicle back? I would not have accepted the delivery.

To add, I offered to cover some of the shortfall and have the bumper repaired locally, as It would have cost me money getting to Nuneaton anyway and was happy to contribute towards the repair. I was advised Mercland prefer to have bodywork done at their site, so they can ensure it is done with care and precision. Why tell me at point of delivery it could be done local to me if they knew they preferred me bringing the vehicle back? Again I would have told the driver to take it back and reschedule delivery.

After failing to come to a compromise and finding some sort of middle ground, I decided to take the vehicle back to Mercland for repairs. I was offered a courtesy car for the duration of repairs (please be mindful this will not be similar/like for like to your vehicle which I can understand may not be possible) but at the very least would have expected it to be clean.

I must stress Mercland did not shirk their responsibilities in terms of the repair and fair play to them for getting this sorted. Credit where credit is due. Having said that, if the preparation process is as good as they suggest or the best in the business? then we would not be in this position where it’s cost me time and money to take the vehicle back and then collect after the weekend. This could have been avoided if the preparation centre manager and sales manager double checked ‘nothing is missed’.

All in all on this occasion I think 2 stars is fair. Could have easily been 4-5 stars if 1) A little bit more care was taken at preparation stage before delivering the vehicle. 2) If I wasn’t given contradicting advice I.e at point of delivery telling me the bumper can be fixed locally to me but then suggesting after delivery it has to come back to Mercland because they ‘prefer to have bodywork done at their site, so they can ensure it is done with care and precision’. A lack of care and precision is the reason why we have had this hiccup which was left to me to resolve.

Please note*** once again this is no way me having a go, I was genuinely disappointed we could not come to an arrangement to have this repaired locally because it really wasn’t a major issue.

Please avoid this place, staffs are unprofessional. I service my car with this company, after 2 days I noticed the engine oil tank was very low, there was a leakage. I went back to them but they refused to fix the problem saying it was something else. The car was in perfect condition before taking it for service. I have to spend more money to fixed the problem they created. Very unhappy with the service this company offer.
