I spent a couple of nights in room #7 in mid-March last year, 2024. The room exceeded my expectations. Very clean, quiet, felt safe, and close to amenities. As a former executive hotel housekeeper, long-time local (40+ years), and all-around adventurer, I was delighted with my accommodations. - In town for my dearest friend's wedding, up the street at the Memorial Hall.

We reserved #7 The Hazard Mine for 2 adults. It was perfect. We arrived later in the evening. Self check in was easy. The room was warm and cozy as someone had turned on the heater prior to our arrival. Which was greatly appreciated.
The inside of the cabin was right up my alley. I felt like I was in the living room of my dreams. I could not stop saying, "omg, I love this place!"
I absolutely loved the decor. The TV was big and swivels. The bed was super cozy and soft. Plenty of pillows and blankets.
Plates, utensils, cups, keurig, microwave and fridge were in the kitchenette. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner were provided in the gorgeous stone shower.
The common area and grounds are clean. They have a fire pit and BBQ area. Looks like a great place to bring friends and family for a weekend get away. I am so looking forward to staying here again. Highly recommend. I even made a tik tok because I loved the room decor so much. LOL

The cabin were advertised for multiple people but Im a very big guy. It was perfect for 1 me. The cabin was super cute. Love the decor. TV was nice and big. Was on a swivel so it could be seen from the couch the bed. The bed was super fluffy and soft. I have a bed back so it's not that great for me but it was soft and comfy.
Plates, utensils, microwave towels and rags. Soap, conditioner, shampoo were all there. There were only two things I didn't not like :1) I wish there was a chair and a small table. 2) they have these cute little crates that you can us for side tables but they don't work well.

The owners brother saw me outside and introduced himself and let me know I could contact them if anything was wrong. It was very nice.

Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Would be a great place to bring a family for some quiet leisure and activites. We would definitely bring out family back for another awesome white water rafting trip. We enjoyed our 2 day stay:

Pros: Super cute, modern rooms. Decent privacy. Relaxing and quiet. Fun yard of activities (corn hole, ping pong, horse shoes, really nice fire pit) and well stocked outdoor kitchen area with a fabulous new Blackstone. Loved all the old town mining and antiques all around the property. Our cabin had a wonderfully detailed book of history of this area, I really enjoyed reading it.lots of recommendations of what to do in the area as well.

Cons: Missing screens to open windows at night for the cool mountain air. TV remote batteries were dead. Only enough coffee k cups for one night. Ceiling fans were installed but not working. The grounds perimeter was cluttered with items that need to be hauled to the dumps. Trash in the outside kitchen was overflowing and not attended to for the day. We could only find one ping pong ball. They have several cool string lights between cabins and over kitchen/recreation area that would have added to the ambiance of the property but 80% of the lights were burnt out.

I liked it! It's a great place to go and just relax and spend quality time with family. It was comfortable and the decor was so cute too. I also liked the grounds as well. Fire pit. Ping pong table. Cooking area.

Pro:|The cabins are a nice size|Kitchenette was suitable for light cooking|Con:|WAAAAY too many emails and texts starting weeks before my stay. Confirming reservation, policies, rules, fees etc is fine but every few days I would get the same ones again. And again and again. |Very kitschy and too many knick knacks all over and on the walls. Felt cluttered. |Kitchen shelves were dusty. |Outside needs a little clean up. |

Small , basic " cabin ". Wall and space heater saved us in 30' temperature outside. Quiet, no night life area. Bring your own K cups though if you're staying more then one night and love coffee. A nice experience for the adventurous..

Surprisingly very clean, tidy and cute cabin! It was so easy to check in/ out because it was all self service. No need to go to the front desk or deal with the timing. The old fashion theme was very unique and we had fun exploring the interior. WiFi was available which is helpful in the mountains. Highly recommended!
