Mountain Community Resources

for the showers only? it's not a Community Center anymore? u can only get in 2 at a time and ur encouraged to hurry and get out other people r waiting? another Community Service bites the dust? there goes the neighborhood?

I have only had one experience 'inside' the building, where the kindest most sincere lady helped guide me through some quirky steps of processing into some helpful resources, when i was completely in the dark about how wonderfully comforting some available resources can be for us (in times when were not so well off). I have benefitted so well, that I AM compelled to give back when i have the chance. ***Giving & Sharing, as random acts of kindness & generosity, to folks and outfits that make a difference for the community/families on up to even Global Issues of Nations... has shown me & countless others, I'm certain, A WHOLE NEW FORM OF LOVING AND REALLY CARING FOR EACH OTHER, no matter where we hail from.😌🤲 Mountain Community Resources' FOOD SUPPLEMENTAL PROGRAM (every Thursday 10:00 am- Noon) is something that everybody should experience. I simply have not seen a staff so dedicated in compassion & warmth of heart as this crew. Kinship is prevalent in their service, as well as with the participators attending the eventv. A 5-star rating to Mountain Community Resources and their elite staff of volunteers. Much Love, Appreciation, and Powerful Respect... Clean friendly. Many great resources. Even mail delivery.

I lost my house in CZU and partially lost my sense of self. I had struggled to get on solid footing. Sadly, my home would not be rebuilt so I felt lost. Linda Meyer at Valley Churches referred me to the program at Mountain Community resources. I had not heard about their programs so was unsure they could help me. Daniella was not only kind, compassionate, and helpful but she made the program work effortlessly. At the time I was very shut down and couldn't see the forest for the trees. Daniella helped me find a trailer, applied for a grant for me, and helped me to get into therapy. I was so thrilled to be helped in such a huge way. The trailer has been a labor of love and I love it so much. Thank you so much MCR for helping me stand on solid ground again.

I am so very thankful and grateful for these lovely ladies at this place!!! it's a shame that they are struggling with the employee situation recently, 🙄it's an amazing place I really appreciate the excellent showers and they're cleaning system. also great to trust getting my mail there thanks so much🤗

If anybody is thinking of new places to donate time or money in the valley, this is a great place! Their food bank they host every Thursday feeds many families with fresh fruits, vegetables, and other foods, all organized by the volunteers. Great place!

They are respectful and have helpful, shower,clothes,coffee, 🍩 too.first come first serve

There used to be more resources available: free printing, more clothing, longer hours. The food distribution is the best I've been to participate.
