Mountain Propane Service

I am very much done with the games of half tanks - I can order a half tank in the summer but not the winter- I am now looking to change services again! Forcing people to buy something is pure 🐂. It’s this backward mountain ignorance that makes me question why I don’t sell this house and escape this small town ignorance!

Mountain Propane Service has been absolutely fantastic. The price is fair and most importantly they always find a way to help me when I need it. Despite major road closures and power outages during the rough winter of 2016/2017 I have never run out of gas. The driver told me they had driven all the way to Saratoga and back just to fill someone at the top of Zayante Rd! Now that is dedication! Every time I call in, a person answers who is easy to talk to and quick to respond. They make paying easy however I hope they do online payments some day. They are the best in the Valley for Propane!

I cannot begin to describe how pleased I am with Mountain Propane. My propane provider failed me royal! Mountain Propane replaced my tank and filled it on Christmas Eve! Professional, knowledgeable, helpful staff and technicians! Competitive pricing on gas. I give them my highest recommendation!

We had Amerigas before Mountain Propane and they were terrible. So glad to be supporting a local company and one that has great service and reasonable pricing. They have the best customer service too!

They suck at returning phone calls, as in, they have never returned a call when I was forced to leave a message, or even when I spoke to someone and they promised to call me back. I've always had to call them back. They are not pro-active in their services. And their "emergency" number is a joke. They're also the most expensive provider in the area and on top of that they have an agreement with at least one "competitor" in the area to not take on each other's customers - which is an unfair business practice.

Matt and Mike went above and beyond to install our tank, performed a low pressure test, and confirmed the appliances were up and running. Boycott Amerigas, and keep your money in your community by supporting local businesses like Mountain Propane!

I just want to say that Mountain Propane Service has the most awesome customer service. In a world where customer service is most often a thing of the past, Mountain Propane totally stands out. I recommend Mountain Propane to anyone and everyone.
