If you are looking to buy or rent a house with the Newtons, please do not do it, this company only cares about one thing, your money. My uncle rents an apartment and when the apartment needs repairs it takes a long time to fix it. In addition to the fact that the properties they have for rent are all in very poor condition, they are not maintained, because the owner is only interested in getting the rent paid. They abuse the needs of people who need a place to live. Also, the woman in the office named Lily is very despotic. Once you have signed the rental contract and you need repairs, then her attitude will change towards you. And also when buying a house it is the same, the woman in charge is the same.I'll post some photos where my uncle lives.

Had this firm rent our home out for us. They found renters and assured us they completed a background on the renters and they would be great. Newton also assured us they would keep a check on our home to make sure no major damage would occur. Well after some time went by these renters destroyed our rental home including the whole kitchen floor fell out from an unreported leak. Walls were torn out and it was obvious 10 plus people had been living there when it was supposed to be a family of four. I can go on and on about the damage and the costly repairs we are now doing but I won’t. I highly discourage people from utilizing Newton and Sons to handle any rental properties for you.

I bought a home from a Newton and Sons agent, 6 years ago. The process was bumpy, considering I was just 19 years old at the time; Terri Lopez, bless her soul, showed me the ropes of home ownership and turned those bumps into one of the biggest blessings for my family and myself. I take a lot of pride in the small little home, therefore Newton and Sons has been a very special company for me. In recent years I have had the great pleasure of meeting a very professional woman named Debbie, her commitment to excellence is what has prompted me to write THIS review.

I have had some issues with the property next door that Newton and Sons manages, the gardener has had some unconventional practices and the property owner has been obstinate about certain transactions the property needs. I have grown frustrated over the 6 years I have owned this home and how these issues have not been handled; today everything was finally resolved. Resolved painfully for me, while an office woman named Lilie who has been my point person for a length of time, was again of no assistance. I have grown deeply troubled by simple requests for the gardener to not use power lawn tools around my cars and I immediately was met hostility from Lilie, the relationship has simple deteriorated over the years to this point. Rather than understanding the limitations that property managers impose by the property owner, I unfairly have held Lilie responsible for damaged done. While we have had a communication barrier for said numerous years, another employee Patricia today heard my request and promptly helped me achieve the goal with gardener. This frustration over time has built and now sets as a true disappointment, rather than being understanding and continuance to practice patience over the inconvenience caused by their gardener. I am sorry for not assuming the best in an employee doing her job, this ongoing issue that I asked the gardener personally to resolve and multiple times with Lilie; perhaps we just did not give one another a chance to be heard. With the gardeners almost regular schedule now known, I will park my cars on the street those days and he no longer uses the tools that caused the damage. It has been hard in the past to simply move my cars as the gardener(s) have not kept a regular schedule.

This property management company has given me amazing tenants over the years, they have been attentive tenets; they have been good neighbors. After today, I hope we can continue to value to roles one another play in the neighborhood.

I requested if it was posible to 6 month contract, to witch they agreed, and only after I gave my 30
Day notice at my previous location newton said they went with other applicants that applied after me!!!! They kept original documents for a week, and they were very rude wen I requested to pick up original documents!!! Thank you I’m out of my original location, and now need to hunt for a new location!!!! Very very unprofessional!!!!
