I’ve been living in Los Angeles for several years now and I’m not sure why today was the first time coming here - this flea market is great! One of the better ones in SoCal.

Spread across parking lots 1, 3 and 4 - this will have something for everyone. Ephemera, antiques, clothing, jewelry, toys, comic books, some basketball cards and LOADS of vintage records.

Admission is FREE (whereas early admission for Rose Bowl flea is $20) and parking is only $2/day.

My rankings of SoCal flea markets so far:

1. Rose Bowl Flea
2a. Long Beach
2b. PCC
3. Melrose Trading Post
4. Silverlake flea

Nice large variety of vendors set up on three different areas on the west side of Pasadena City College (off of Hill between Colorado Blvd and Del Mar).

PCC Flea Market is a rewarding destination for treasure hunters. Admission is free, and the parking is fairly easy and reasonable at $2. The best deals are inside the parking structure. Happy hunting.

Fairly big flea market. Admission is free. They have $2 on-site parking, but there’s also free street parking nearby.

There’s a good variety of items: plants, clothing, records, tchotchkes, furniture, jewelry, etc.

Most of it is outdoors, but there’s a section inside a parking garage which is great when it’s hot.

There was an information stand with free coffee provided by Jones. They also have restrooms for patrons to use.

Lots of people brought their dogs. Mix of people wearing masks and not.

Right up there with Long Beach and Rose Bowl in terms of the best flea or antique markets in greater Los Angeles. My favorite thing that sets PCC apart from those, is that it’s free to get into!! All you have to do is pay $2 to park. But to get into the actual vendors area, there is no extra cost. Given the early entrance fee to Rose Bowl is $20/person, PCC seems like a steal. This one is heavy on records, and mixed antique and flea items. You’ll also find LA’s best plant person: Arnold. Go to him for rare succulents! He’s the master. The prices at PCC are also generally lower and so this feels like the perfect flea for the budget conscious. Some vendors will haggle, not all. It’s spread out so you need to be prepared to walk. But unlike Rose Bowl which all happens out in the open, many of the vendors at PCC are in parking garages which is nice for those who don’t do well exposed to the hot sun. It’s an unusual flea, that feels set apart from others and awesome in ways that defy description. Just try it! All you have to lose is the $2 parking fee 😉
