This Court fails to achieve their mission they've stated on google. I received a ticket for speeding and reckless driving which I have proof I am not guilty of from dash cam recordings which displays MPH and also is date stamped. My first appearance, they were not allowing anybody in the courtroom but instead everybody had to provide their phone number and wait in their vehicles in the parking lot for a text when it was their turn, this was during the summer and temperatures were high and I waited over 5 hours for my turn. It was my first appearance and since my plea was not guilty was just given another court date months later. When that day does finally come and I show up I find out I have a warrant for FTA for missing court 2 days prior. I was never notified of the change of dates, or at least never received and had my warrant served and got another court date. On that date I waited again all day and given another court date. This repeated the next few court dates until my final court date over a year after I had gotten the ticket when my public defender told me they'd drop all the charges except for reckless driving which was told was only a small fine of $100. I tried explaining that I was not guilty and had dash cam footage but was never able to present it in front of the court and just told that that was the best deal I could get because it dropped the FTA and that I wouldn't want to have that on my record and that the dashcam footage may prove my innocence for the speeding and reckless driving but would still have the FTA. By this point I had spent days and days in their court and really did not want to sit in court all day anymore so ended up taking their deal...however it turned out more than just a $100 fine...after court when I visited with the clerk for payment plan my fine came out to over $800 after court costs and fees and I also had to take a defensive driving class and given a review date 1 month later. On that review date I had not completed the defensive driving class as they only have it twice a month and wasn't able to attend having such short and limited time, I also only paid $20 on my fines and also STILL HAD TO SIT IN COURT ALL DAY AGAIN on my review date, the only reason I plead guilty in the first place. When I did go in front of the judge he locked me up and I was taken to the holding cell for not completing my class and only paid $20, although I had tried to explain that my payment of $20 wasn't meant as a joke to the court but for a measure of good faith to ask for more time to complete my class. They let me out of the holding cell to appear back in front of the judge again after everybody else appeared and he hadn't even remembered that he locked me up, not sure exactly how long I was in the holding cell for but it was under an hour and the judge didn't even remember what he had shouted at me and locking me up, seriously! All this just for something of which I am innocent of...my faith in the justice system is gone. I could have hired an attorney but in my mind if I am innocent and could even prove my innocence that I shouldn't be out of any cost and hiring an attorney even if it would protect my innocence would still be paying for the ticket in another way. Innocent until proven guilty...what a joke!

I contacted the court 9.9.2020 at 11:20 and elected option #1. I was greeted with a female who appeared to not like her job or who seemed to be having a bad day. Your employees are a reflection of your institution. I understand the nature of their job, but it's no excuse for rudeness. I don't appreciate being hung up on because someone is frustrated and cannot admit that they don't know the answer. I know she doesn't have the answer for everything, but she does have the capacity to ask questions.
I highly suggest that if you want to make a positive impression the community that you have vowed to serve and protect, offer your employees sensitivity training. Show them how to react and deal with various types of calls.

They were friendly but we went on the date that was on our ticket and they told us we were supposed to be there 2 and a half weeks later than what was written on the ticket.. no one notified us of this.. so my teenage son has to now miss 2 days of school over a petty traffic ticket but they were kind enough to provide him with a note for school. But still.. if it were 2 and half weeks before what was written on the ticket, we'd be in big trouble.. at no fault of our own. In my opinion, they need to get it together.

This courthouse is the worst. As many times as my dad and I have called, they never answer the phone. The couple times I received a call back after sending in an email, the clerk was very rude to me, and was talking to me like I was stupid. She was raising her voice at me, was very rude, and never answered any questions my dad and I had. If I could do any negative stars for this courthouse there would be many.

Having the same issue as everyone else, except this time the phone number doesn't even work anymore. Everytime I call, I'm given the same exact message at the very beginning from a robot "I did not get your response in time. Please try again." And then no matter what number I push or what I say, it just says "That is an invalid selection, thank you, goodbye." in a very smug tone. Ignore the generic replies to the reviews. The phone number simply doesn't work. Period.

They are super rude and belittled me. I didn’t understand how to fill out a form and they both said “it’s not that hard mam”. Sorry y’all have a bad day but i don’t fill these out every day. I know I’m not stupid so don’t make me out to be that way. The security guards were awesome though! Very nice and made the situation so much better.

This is the most incompetent, unprofessional, rude, and clueless court house. They never answer phone calls, and will tell you lie after lie. They don't even know how things work.
