To start, I understand that, to some degree, RE/MAX is limited in some ways by the will of the owner of the property that they manage. Unfortunately, RE/MAX is who I dealt with, not the property owner. So RE/MAX will receive the blame.

Work orders were normally slow, if they were ever done. The amount of repairs that were either refused or were marked complete without actual work being done is unacceptable. The microwave door had a bad crack in it at the time of moving in, but they would not fix it. It is currently not even attached to the microwave because it's so badly broken. A ticket was filed over two months ago, and nothing has been done.

When we gave notice to vacate, we were given a long list of expectations of cleanliness including paying a professional cleaner to handle the floors. Many of the expectations that were set for us were not met when we had moved in. The unit smelled, was generally dirty, and the yard was overgrown and populated by rodents.

It is likely that deposits are being kept from tenants for not doing these things, but it does not seem that anybody is doing them afterwards.

Hopefully, I will never need to rent again, but if I do, I would happily go to Lindsey before I went back to RE/MAX.

EDIT: Re/MAX has proven themselves to be professional and to care about their tenants individually despite the fact they run a huge business. John Rhine is a wonderful leader. As a tenant, be honest and proactive with them and they will have your back if necessary with the property owner.

Strong warning against renting any property with this company, first I paid a $2700 deposit and $600 deposit for pets plus pet rent and when I moved in the place was filthy. The home had holes in the walls and doors, the yard overgrown, the counters and toilets all soiled it was disgusting, the carpets all stained. To add insult to injury all the appliances had problems. I stayed one year, and tried to renegotiate for a second year because of the inflated rental prices in town. Well the investor for 210 Beasley decided to forefit my entire $3350 deposit, AFTER I left the home spotless, and the yard freshly cut and trimmed. I left the home in so much better condition than they let me move into, and they still find ways to take honest people's money. Beware of this company at all cost.

Amazing staff. If you're looking for an agent, Jim K is the man you need. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I bought my first house with his help and I really needed it because I knew absolutely nothing. I will definitely work with him or his children when I go to sell my current house in the future

When our lease was up they said they were going to renovate the duplex and we had to move had hardly no time to prepare.when we left they used the walk thru we filled out when we first moved in so that they could fix anything wrong against us .everything we found upon vacating they said we had to pay for as damages problem is we are a older couple and I promise you we did no damage they even tried to charge us for the rusted burner pans on the stove that we never used instead we used our own so whats that say for their honesty .you say you don't handle duplexes now. But when I lived there you most certainly did or I payed rent at the wrong place for a year! Don't try to deny your business practices its just moronic.
