Worst store ever. Was a long term costumer, over 15 years and numerous of items.

The only way I can write this review is to click on review and give them one star, but they actually deserve a big fat 0. My son purchased an air conditioner from Rent-A-Center with cash and it did not fit so he returned it two days later when he went into the store to get his refund CARLOS told them that he would have to wait until somebody bought them cash to refund him. This went on for 4 to 5 days. Finally, we had to call the police get them to write a report which then the police told us that They have several calls from this particular store about the same situation. The managers name is CARLOS. So please beware if you plan to purchase from this store. Ask plenty of questions and Pay with a credit card, but I would advise you to use another store. Something is truly shady. Going on there. If you know what I know you will save your money and buy your stuff straight out and never use Rent-A-Center because the first thing they’ll be doing if you miss a payment be knocking on your door like the police. 😤😡🤬 Just to add this little tidbit I called back to the store to speak with Maria and CARLOS Snatch the phone from her and hung up in my face.

Took advantage of the Cinco de Mayo $.05 promotion. Signed the contract money was debited from my
Account and when I go to the store they tell me that I still have to put down a $150 deposit after I signed a contract and was told by another store and their corporate offices that the $.05 is the deposit. Straight scam!!! Don’t believe their promotions or atleast don’t expect this store to honor it. I’ve never had this problem with Aaron’s so if you can go to them and steer clear of RAC.

Managers and staff besides Maria are so unprofessional and harass you days before payments and call not once but 4x daily even when you tell them you are at work and have the nerve to show up at your house ! As if payment was so late! They don’t work with you at all. I would never get another thing from rent a center as a whole especially from this location. Humiliating and worse experience I’ve had

Larry is such a wonderful manager, I have got multiple things from my Rent A Center on Hillsborough in Seminole Heights Florida. He is knowledgeable friendly and I feel so comfortable shipping there through the years. I don’t know if I would shop there if it were not for Larry. Even when the store has a lot of people Larry somehow finds time for me.
Robert and I’m sorry I do not know the other gentleman’s name are the best they always have a smile and I’m older so they help me if I need to move something to fit what they brought. I’ve known Robert for a long time from the store he goes out of his way to give you the best service. I feel so fortunate that I found my RAC store.
The other man that comes with Robert is so olive just like Robert. He the other man is always so nice.
When you get to be 74 and am quarantined to my place because I’m taking chemo at the moment so they have to be my eyes at the store.
I’ve never been disappointed for anything.
I know you would love to have theses sort of people at every store.

Horrible service I wouldn’t recommend to anyone they don’t answer the phones they don’t call you when you are told they’re going too especially when it is to start a contract, now I bet if I owed money someone would call… go to Aaron’s or buddys… I’m disgusted
