The first sign was when Schools credit union decided to leave the industry, I should have moved to another bank as well. Here are some issues,
* First year was he'll bring to pay bills online.
* Long waiting times just because their texting on their phone.
* Dress code is well GOODFKINGBYE
* THIS APP SUCKS. THEY EXPECT US TO KEEP THEM IN BUISSNES WHILE THEY USE OUR MONEY TO UPGRADE THEIR APP. 😆 THAT'S FUNNY.
* Everything says pending in their app.
* Try calling their online help it's even worse.
* 10k deposit check limit..I mean it's a deposit. If it was withdrawal ok I understand.
* Their just looking for way to earn easy fee money. NO ONE REALLY CARES ABOIT CUSTOMERS NO MORE.

At least if I get charged a fee somewhere else their treat, speak, dress, and take a 30k deposit anytime. I've been here for way to long since 2001, but SCHOOLS CREDIT UNION WAA THE BEST.. Even their logo was cool.. now not so much.

WORST OF ALL IS THIS STUPID CRAPPY APP. SFCU PLEASE USE SOME OF YOUR CEO GOLF MONEY TO UPGRADE THIS APP. THANKS AND GOODBYE.

Nothing against the staff members there. Everyone is nice, however if you’re looking for a new credit union I don’t recommend this bank. I loved the old bank (Schools Credit Union), but since Schools became Schools First Federal Credit Union, the bank has been nothing but trouble for me. They tried to overdraft me many times. Their system won’t take out payments I’ve made (on time), instead they wait and let my payments get pinned as -pending. I’ve seen several times where payments were taken out way too early than they are scheduled. They watch your account and will try everything to overdraft you. I’ve been a member of Schools Credit Union since 2004 and I’ve never had this much issue until they became Schools First Federal Union. I’m thinking that it’s time to leave.

My boyfriend and I had the best first time experience. We were attended to quickly on a busy Saturday morning by the lovely Linda. She helped explain all of the benefits of opening an account with them thoroughly. Her customer service is stellar and her positivity impacted us hugely. We even got a goodie bag; no other bank has ever done that for us. We highly recommend banking here!!

Great place answered all my questions and concerns. Very professional. Gets little busy around noon time so would recommend get there morning time . But overall I’m satisfied got my first car loan , and 2 personal loans when Covid hit awesome team.

I can't believe what a low rating this place has. First and foremost let me say I love schools!! I will never bank with Anyone else !! I went to the Calvine location but they were understaffed so ended up here. Mrs Linda helped me refinance my vehicle. She was very friendly knowledgeable and quick! She explained everything throughly and told me it would be about 45 minutes! I honestly don't think it took her that long! I was in and out in a flash! Thank you Linda! Linda actually listen lol and to all my family and friends I encourage you guys to bank with schools! However Linda did mention now you have to qualify in order to bank here, like have a family member who already banks here refer you!!!

Every time I deal with Schools C.U. on phone or in person they've been great! The Elk Grove branches parking lot could be tricky sometimes but always like the people. Loans dept. makes is "very" convenient to.

This is THEE worst credit union in California. It took my 4 months to get my pin to my debit card. Calling every other day to figure it out and them just telling me that it is being mailed to me. Horrible costumer service and are rude to customers. Hate this place. As you can tell... I go to the placerville branch and will not be going there anymore... terrible
