Observed room for improvement on Customer service.
Finding:
1, Barista took 5 minutes to take my order while no one else was in line
2, barista handed out 3 hot beverages without a tray nor cup sleeves
3, When asked for cup sleeves she only gave me 1 when there are 3 hot beverages.
I really like the atmosphere and the drinks are good , if customer service can improve then this store is perfect.

Got in here to this location at approximately 12:55 PM on Monday. 09/09/2024, two gentlemen working behind the counter offering great service. Had an opportunity to interact with both guys. Great service. Great job! Thank you for the great service.

2023 update: this is no longer a Starbucks Reserve location.
This Starbucks location has a generous interior with a vaulted ceiling and ample seating. Service was friendly but slow despite the nearly empty store. There’s a small adjacent parking lot with plenty of nearby street parking. Overall good but I was disappointed that it wasn’t a Reserve location anymore.

Best kept secret in Danville is this Starbucks Reserve. They serve the same coffee drinks like a regular Starbucks, but they also sell higher quality coffee drinks (better tasting roasted coffee beans) designed for a Starbucks Reserve.

While the staff is friendly and helpful, service is not consistent every time I visit. Sometimes I get my coffee served to me as I sit at the bar counter watching the barista make it. Other times, my coffee just sits there waiting. No call out for the order or my name (this place does not ask for name - I pay via the Starbucks app).

The baristas are not great with latte art (with premium coffee, come premium prices, I expect latte art). You have to ask for a mug or glass when you order. The baristas here don’t automatically ask for your preference (coffee tastes better in a mug or glass, not paper or plastic).

I visit here once a week, enjoying the background music playing (not too loud) and WiFi while sipping my coffee (slowly ordering what is on the Reserve menu).

There is outdoor sitting area in front of this location, facing Hartz, and freelancers and students inside doing their work and enjoying their beverages. Street parking or across the street is a parking lot.

#kidfriendly - diaper changing table, but no high chairs. There is hot cocoa, lemonades, and teas to order.
