Our favorite stop out of 5 days in Sonoma/Napa! We enjoyed the wine here more than any of the high dollar, fancy vineyards we visited!

Great wines, great setting, and a very friendly host!

Personal favorites were the 2021 Merlot from Pickberry Vyd and the 2019 Cab Sav, but it’s a hard pick because everything was fantastic.

I’m so glad we found this place. Sometimes places of the beaten path far exceed the bougie places. We learned so much about the processes of winemaking and made great conversations with one of the partners. We will gladly become members and order across the country. This is a must stop of Sodoma valley.

Tin Barn Vineyards is my new go to winery. The ambiance of the tasting room, the delicious variety of wines, and amazing co-owner Michael Lancaster are unmatched. I highly recommend booking a reservation while you’re in Sonoma! You must try the 2020 Pinot Gris! I even signed up for the wine club. I can’t get enough of it!

Danielle was a wonderful host and we loved learning about the wines and history of the vineyard. A cool, unexpected tasting room in an industrial looking setting. Definitely on my list to revisit!

This winery was the last of our 3 day trip. It was different than all the beautiful wineries we visited but well worth it. The "warehouse" atmosphere was cool and had a good vibe. Michael was great telling us about how he became a wine maker and explaining all the different varietals we tried. Would recommend for a different tasting experience.

Tin Barn was a great spot for our group of 7. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather as Mike walked us through a tasting of 6 wines. Since it wasn’t too busy he also gave us a tour of the warehouse answering our questions about his winemaking process. This is not your typical vineyard-view wine tasting, but it is a fun spot to learn more about the wines in the area directly from a winemaker who loves what he does.

The wines here are tasty, but I would not put this place on my list for wineries to visit in Sonoma. Not quite the traditional ambiance most are looking for - the tasting room is currently in the parking lot outside (covid) of the Skypark warehouses. And Michael lacks the charm and hospitality one looks for in their tasting experience.

I organized an offsite to Wine Country for my team at work and Tin Barn was one of the vineyards we visited as part of this excursion. They were nice enough to accommodate a big group (there were like 30 of us) which can be kind of rare for tasting rooms.

When we arrived they had a nice table set up for us already w/ the right number of glasses and all the bottles ready to taste; the organization and forethought was definitely appreciated. I don't know too much about wine, but it seemed ok for its price (the bottles were like $20-50). They specialize in red wines and had a generous tasting menu -- I believe it was 1 white + 6 reds for $5.

The place is located in like an office facility / storage unit looking type building, so if you're looking for like rolling hills with neat rows of grape bushes, you have come to the wrong place. (Shouldn't be a dealbreaker necessarily in my opinion -- just go to one of those before/or after; most look the same after you've been to 1 or a few anyway.) They also do a little tour of their facility where they show you some of the machines that are used to make the wine.

I would not put this as high up as the MUST VISIT category for wine country but would certainly recommend a visit if it fits into your schedule etc.
