So we go to the store to order two expensive stone bathroom sync. We are ready to buy that day but the sales person tells us that he will order in two weeks because there is a sales and we will get better prices. He gets all our info, gives us a printed copy of the cost that we agree on and sign. 3+ weeks go by and nothing. Not a phone call, no email as promise, nothing. So I call back to ask about it. He apologized for forgetting and then says he can’t do the sales unless we go back, that they don’t do sales over the phone for first time buyers at the store. We literally were there and would have bought it that day had he not suggested to wait for the sales to come in play and finish over the phone when ready to order. But now he needs to see us again? He gets really snappy saying he has done this for 14 years and since we are new customers he won’t take our payment over the phone, so strange and bad matters. We can order online expensive syncs, we liked the store and were excited to do business with them but that is bad sales behavior, how do they even do business like this? Anyways, Im not driving all the way to Oxnard to be schooled by an old grouchy man that had forgotten about our order in the first place! Ill drive to thousand oaks or Westlake, thank you very much!

Do not buy Frigidaire ovens from WDC as mine went bad within 6 months of delivery. The warranty from Frigidaire/Electrolux is a joke as they make you jump through hoops and delay repairs, requiring at least 5 technician visits and replacement of almost a dozen parts before considering replacing a faulty unit.

I bought an Expensive Frigidaire in-wall oven/microwave combo from WDC that went bad only 6 months after purchasing it. WDC had given me a "free" 3 year warranty. Is this because they know the items they sell will fail?
When the microwave part of the oven stopped heating food on November 23rd 2024, I called Electrolux who is supposed to take care of the oven's Frigidaire warranty. The attempted repairs were unsuccesful even after 5 visits and replacing 10 parts over the past 6 weeks (and over the holidays when the oven is used the most) and rendered the unit unusable since the internal fuse kept burning out after certain parts were replaced.
Electrolux canceled the 4th scheduled appointment without contacting me. I contacted their overseas customer service agent who said that they had canceled the appointment because according to their records, the additional parts needed for the repair had not been delivered to my address.
But the parts were IN MY HANDS since they HAD been delivered by UPS directly to my address the day before the appointment. .
It is unacceptable that Electrolux does not keep their records updated in a timely manner for the best possible service. Now I am without a working oven for over a month before, and a month after the New Year 2025 with no recourse or compensation. They just keep telling me that more parts need replacing before a claim can be filed for a replacement oven. The state the claim can take 7 - 10 business days to review before any decision can be made on whether or not they will replace the entire unit. They won't even send a tech out to replace the internal fuse that burnt out, caused by the new parts they replaced.

I had already requested the oven be replaced with a new one because Like in a new car, if it starts having problems and parts start going bad within 6 months and have to be replaced, it's a lemon and the entire unit needs to be replaced with a new one. I explained my situation to both WDC and Electrolux, but neither wanted to take responsibility to replace the oven with a new one, and at the time didn't seem to care about my inconvenience, frustration, and time wasted over the LEMON oven they sold to me.
It's been 6 weeks now and both the oven and microwave aren't working because the internal fuse keeps burning out due to the parts that were replaced.

I am posting this review to warn everyone about WDC and Frigidaire/Electrolux faliling products and poor customer service.

I am updating my review. It has been two months and a week since my troubles began with the Frigidaire oven I purchased from WDC. After many hours of frustration spent with customer service and service technicians, I finally received a new LG combination oven/microwave from WDC after Frigidaire agreed to refund the money for their faulty product. I have to give credit to WDC for their help in resolving this situation by helping to get me a replacement oven through them that included the installation and a free additional 3 year warranty (offered standard on appliances they sell). I am happy now.

I can’t say enough good things about WDC is Oxnard. They helped me with an order that I had to return beyond the return time due to a family issue. I will most definitely be shopping by with them when I need appliances again. They are honest helpful and make the process easy when I was going through a very difficult time. I purchased an entire kitchen of GE Cafe Appliances, plus an extra dishwasher and a washer and dryer from the very nice salesman. The refrigerator has leaked from the day it was delivered and has not worked for even 1 day in. 8 months! GE has sent out many service calls and replaced many parts but still not working after 8 months. I have requested Discount Watehouse to help us with this but they refuse to get involved.i am so disappointed with their attitude and lack of help in resolving this disturbing issue.

Answering 7 years later….Thank you for the answer to my issue, although this incident happened 7 years ago. We did finally get this resolved but as I recall it took quite a while. Still, I have purchased several more appliances from you since that time as you do have a great selection and helpful people at the store, I have not had any other issues and am still a customer.

I needed to replace my refrigerator that quit working and WDC in Oxnard is always my first choice for appliances. The experience from beginning to end couldn’t have been better. The staff that answer the phone are polite and helpful. Chanell was amazing and did everything in her power to help me find a refrigerator to fit my space with all the features I wanted. Chanell kept in contact with me to make sure everything was going according to plan and kept me updated onthe status of my order. Jesus made the delivery go perfectly. He and his coworker were very careful removing the old refrigerator. I was concerned that because the refrigerator was heavy it might scratch my wood floors. Jesus cheerfully used a shipping pad and plastic runners to protect my floors. Minutes after the installation I got a call asking me how the delivery was! Thank you Chanell and all your employees for top notch customer service!!

We had previously purchased a new refrigerator from WDC Oxnard in Nov. 2021 as neither Home Depot nor Lowe’s could deliver one to us next day. WDC had what we wanted in stock and delivered next day as requested. In December 2023, we decided to replace our oven, microwave, and dishwasher and went right over to WDC where we were assisted by Abul who helped us find just what we were looking for. The new dishwasher developed an issue right after the install and needed to be replaced. We spoke with Chanell, the store manager, who immediately contacted the appropriate department, and another dishwasher was ordered and installed ASAP. We are very happy with our new appliances and truly appreciate the great customer service from Chanell, who handled the dishwasher issue to our satisfaction, with courtesy and professionalism. Thank you Chanell, Abul, and Maria for taking such good care of us. We will definitely recommend WDC to our family and friends.

In the last 5 months my husband and I purchased an oven and microwave and a refrigerator from WDC! I will no longer go to Home Depot or Lowe’s for my lg appliance needs! From the moment I stepped foot in the door the customer service was like no other The store Mgr Chanel was amazing very knowledgeable on her inventory, and our sales person Sarfaz was one of a kind, I wasn’t sure of the exact measurements of my oven and microwave and within 20 minutes of me, leaving that store, he came to my house to measure to be precise in all my yrs of buying appliances I have never been treated this way! They are definitely a 10+ store
