The dude at the counter was hella rude to us when we asked if we were coming in too close to closing. We just didn't wanna be rude and he called my boyfriend "white boy" and muttered something angrily at us. Then he wouldn't make eye contact with us during checkout.
Good selection for milk and whipped cream tho I guess?

Closest convenience store from the U.C David dorms . They have Indian groceries too and a kitchen for Indian and Nepalese food . Decent enough for the students .

We love our local grocery. Good selection of items. Delicious fresh cooked food, which they recently started offering. Generous portions and convenient to order, then do your grocery shopping while it’s cooking.

Westlake Market in West Davis provides a nice option for last minute groceries.
Lighting is a bit dim, and staff are hit or miss. Checkout clerk barely paused using their cell phone to ring up customers, but there wasn't much of a wait

I'd give the small Indo-Nepali take-away restaurant (that's surprisingly hidden in this random location) a higher-than-4-star rating as the Himalayan fried rice was excellent. Samosas were just ok. The grocery store itself is an odd mix of some really special/unique groceries and yet a somewhat depressing atmosphere that could be fixed with better lighting and shelf layouts.

Literally a refrigerator inside. The whole place is freezing so expect to wear a jacket like the employees. Makes shopping real quick

I love the IGA! Great grocery store for your typical needs with a good produce selection (conventional and organic) as well. I really love the local feel.
The Nepali restaurant inside is a must try as well: the food is delicious and well priced ($9.99 for any entree). Everything tastes incredible with delicious spices and the staff is very friendly.

Been coming here for 6 years and have seen a few different owners. The current owners are wonderful and have turned the former coffee shop into an Indian food counter serve restaurant. I really enjoy the lamb curry! It’s the best I’ve had in California.
