It was a busy place right before Christmas. They was prepared for the rush of customers. They worked swiftly through the line of people, getting us in and out.

I went to the Windmill on Highway 231/431 in Meridianville tonight with both my sons (one who is 17 and one who is 33), which I had done numerous times before. They both helped me carry beer and a bottle of moonshine to the cash register, and an older black lady asked my 17 year old for his ID. I told her that I was buying the beer, not him, but she didn't seem to care. She said it didn't matter because he was underage and not supposed to be in the store. I wasn't aware of that, and told her he could just wait outside; however, she still refused to sell me anything, and she was also very rude. She acted like I was intentionally buying beer for a minor, which I would never do. My previous experiences in this store were not great either, but this was the worst. It was the craziest thing I have ever seen, and I won't shop there ever again.

There was an older black lady who helped me tonight and she was so rude to me. She accused me of buying my items for someone else and then asked me why I gave her my ID when I look well over the age to purchase alcohol. I'll never shop there again.

only stop by if nothing else is close
I'm good. I drove out of the way to another liquor store just to avoid being bothered with this one.

Convenient location. Good selection of whiskey. Occasionally gets Eagle Rare but it goes quick. They get new shipments every Thursday.
